  • Pomegranate Powerful Antioxidant

The pomegranate’s irresistible appeal and legendary medicinal properties has been the subject of myths, epics and works of art. Legendary allusions aside, pomegranate juice has been scientifically shown to be rich in antioxidants. Pomegranate has about three times more antioxidants ounce for ounce than red wine or green tea. In some clinical studies, pomegranate has been shown to be of significant benefit, especially in the prevention of heart disease. Pomegranate is remarkably rich in soluble polyphenols, which scavenge free radicals and help prevent DNA damage that can lead to a number of serious health conditions. A recent study indicates pomegranate has compounds that play a role in osteoarthritis and prostate health.

Pomegranate juice is a rich source of phytochemical compounds shown to benefit the heart and blood vessels. It not only lowers cholesterol, but lowers blood pressure and increases the speed at which heart blockages (atherosclerosis) melt away. Not only are pomegranates good for your heart and blood vessels but they have been shown to inhibit breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, leukemia and to prevent vascular changes that promote tumor growth. Pomegranate Power was developed by Irish-born Tony O’Donnell, CNC., a nutritional researcher and the Herb Doc seen on ABC and CNN News.
